I don’t know about you but I don’t have time to be going out to ‘meet’ men.  Well I also live in a very small Northern Michigan town which doesn’t leave a lot of options to meeting men, unless you are into the bar thing and that’s just not my thing anymore.

I’ve tried my hand at the online dating thing a couple times in the past but have always given up after a month (hey it’s expensive!).  I have one of two things happening on these dating sites:

1.  There aren’t any ‘matches’ locally - on eHarmony I had the most problems with this and the closest match was about 2-3 hours from me.
2.  I am being sent ‘matches’ that are men I know personally from my past (and well quite frankly my past & the men I know from my past aren’t exactly a great combination).  This seems to be only an issue with Yahoo Personals.

For whatever reason I’ve been noticing a lot more lately how some of these pictures that men put up make them look like they are in a mug shot!  Now come on guys - let’s get serious here.  Do you think that if your picture creeps us out that we are going to contact you?  Sure a ‘normal’ picture of a man doesn’t necessarily mean he is normal but I’m certainly not going to be contacting any men that I see a freaky picture of and for some reason I’m coming across a lot of them lately!

I’m a total airhead!  I just mentioned my show on Monday’s Mom’s Morning Show but yet here it is 12:17am Tuesday night (well Wednesday morning) and I don’t have a show up (sigh).

I’ve got to get some organization together or I’ll never keep this thing going.  I think it’s just so new to me that I don’t know how to put all my thoughts/ideas, etc together to keep a good flow going.

I will be emailing a couple people about joining me as guests on the show and that will help alleviate the “I’m sick of hearing myself talk”  mood
